Jeremy Fish an illustrator and artist living in San Francisco. Fish went to art school in California, but is originaly from New York!




Jeremy Fish has collaborated with Aesop Rock since the latter's move to San Francisco in 2005. In the fall of 2006, the pair created a book entitled The Next Best Thing, which also included a 7-inch picture disk, and in the 2008 Drago published Rome-antic Delusions. Fish later created the artwork for Aesop Rock's fifth studio album None Shall Pass, released by Definitive Jux.

I can't Melt - MIA in USA

So, I guess it's Aufwiedersehen Deutschland on the 17th, which also happens to be the Kick-Off for the most anticipated Festival of 2009. Melt! - I'm leaving the country with mixed feelings on Friday, on one hand I am so excited to get back to the states, on the other, I really regret having to miss the Melt Festival this year. If you haven't seen the line-up then you better check it out on the MELT webpage, sorry folks pre-sale tix are sold out! The Festival dates are from the 17th to the 19th of July, while you're all getting your dance on, I'll be in the airplane thinking about you!

Introducing the new talent from Los Angeles Nosaj Thing! This guy has just finished up his Asia Tour and is coming back home for more! Thank god, because he is extreme, and I just happen to be going home on the 17th of July!

The new LP " Drift " released on the 9th of June, and has been burning up playlists ever since! Check out the Myspace for a taste of true Los Angeles Electro, with influences from Hip Hop, to Funk/Soul, and D n B. Published on June, 7th 2007 in the UK this book has taken a little part of my imagination and really run off with it.

After Dark is a short, sleek novel of encounters set in Tokyo during the witching hours between midnight and dawn, and every bit as gripping as Haruki Murakami’s masterworks The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Kafka on the Shore.

At its center are two sisters—Eri, a fashion model slumbering her way into oblivion, and Mari, a young student soon led from solitary reading at an anonymous Denny’s toward people whose lives are radically alien to her own: a jazz trombonist who claims they’ve met before, a burly female “love hotel” manager and her maid staff, and a Chinese prostitute savagely brutalized by a businessman. These “night people” are haunted by secrets and needs that draw them together more powerfully than the differing circumstances that might keep them apart, and it soon becomes clear that Eri’s slumber—mysteriously tied to the businessman plagued by the mark of his crime—will either restore or annihilate her.

I recommend this book to any book lover. It's addicting, fast-pace, and absolutely riveting. Haruki Murakami has a way with words that is somewhat magical, and allows the readers imagination to wander. Lovely!
